About Sandra F. Anderson
Hi everyone. I'm Sandra Anderson. First, I should tell you why I'm featuring this picture. I took it at a horse photography course several years ago. Horses have been a passion of mine since I was a child, and one of my projects is to create a book of photographs featuring horses and other animals.
Given my interest in wildlife, I feel blessed to have access to an area that's home to deer, coyotes, the occasional moose, rabbits and birds. One evening, I took the sunset photograph above and I hope you enjoy it.
Over the years, my career took me from the public sector to the corporate world, and offered many unique experiences, including travelling across the country. While it is great to visit various places as a tourist, I found that my work assignments gave me an opportunity to become acquainted with people in their day-to-day environment. My life has been enriched by these opportunities.
It's interesting how our exposure to different situations can motivate us to develop and try new things. A number of years ago, I decided to go back to university to complete a Master's degree with a speciality in intercultural communications, which proved useful in my career. Then, after leaving the corporate world, I took an equine journalism course and tried my hand at writing a few articles for a magazine that provides information for people involved in equine activities. What can I say other than I have a diverse set of interests and I love learning.
Currently, I'm a member of two romance writers associations and I volunteer, when I can, for a local humane society.
