What is "Open Spaces Open Hearts" all about?
Kenna Maguire is a talented career woman whose life is turned upside down when her fiancé betrays her love and her boss sexually harasses her. Knocked down but not out, she quits her job and moves to her aunt's ranch in Alberta.
She meets a neighbouring rancher, Cole Burgess. As their attraction to one another grows, they find that their relationship is jeopardized by their fear of being hurt again. Like Kenna, Cole has been blind-sided in love and is not ready to trust his heart with her.
As Kenna works on rebuilding her life, she discovers that the rural lifestyle, with its sense of community spirit, offers her a new sense of well being. At the same time, she befriends a local teenager whose young years have been filled with loss and his only living relative is terminally ill.
Just when it seems her life is coming together, she discovers she has not escaped the grip of her ex-fiancé and former boss. Her personal journey of healing takes an unexpected turn when they threaten to destroy all that she has worked for.
